Course Discription

This course is designed to open students' eyes to the world of robotics and home automation, providing a basic understanding of robotics programming concepts. Participants will learn how to program various electronic devices for everyday use and gain insight into the role of microcontrollers in automation and robot control. The fundamentals of Information & Communication Technology will be covered, giving students a solid foundation in this field.

Throughout the program, students will be equipped with a fundamental understanding of embedded systems using Arduino microcontrollers. They will gain the skills to confidently construct and troubleshoot microcontroller circuits for different applications, as well as learn how to communicate with Arduino boards through various interfaces. The course covers topics such as basic Arduino programming, electronics basics , prototyping circuit and utilizing the Arduino programming language. By the end of the course, participants will be able to program Arduino microcontrollers, connect circuits to the Arduino, and understand communication through serial terminals for both practical and stand-alone applications.

The course is accredited by the Maldives Qualification Authority and is categorized at MNQF Level 1, with a total of 10 credit points.
